James (Jim) Everett Miller, 81, of Noblesville, IN, passed away, Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Riverwalk Village Nursing Home in Noblesville, IN, surrounded by close friends and family. Jim was born December 25, 1937 to Theodore and Essie Miller; he was the second oldest of four children. Jim was a quarterback for the football team at Manual High School and graduated from Manual High School in 1956.

Jim is survived by his wife Vera of 43 years, daughters Dorothea (Dolly) Tompkins, Linda Warden – deceased, Teresa Parker – deceased, son James (Mike) Miller, step-daughters Tina Newby, Kim Taylor, stepsons Larry Newby, Jimmy Newby, grandchildren Charlie Warden, Dian Lewis, David Parker, Ashley Tedford, step-grandchildren Scott Newby, Jennifer Buzan, Christopher Warden, Joshua Jones, Cristian Jones, John Stevens, great grandchildren Destiny Lewis, Paige Lewis, Carter Tedford, Lathan Tedford, Scarlett Tedford, Bryce Warden, Abigail Warden, Lyric Parker, Felicity Parker, step-great-grandchildren Lyric Cox, Liliahna Buzan, Ahli Buzan, Amiya Buzan, Baylie Jones, Chloe Jones, Sadie Warden-deceased, Eli Stevens, Cali Stevens, Noah Stevens, Zach Stevens, brothers Ray Miller, Larry Miller-deceased, sister Violet Miller-deceased, and many loving nieces, nephews, and relatives.
Jim was a loving father, husband, grandfather, and friend to everyone. He enjoyed being around family especially around his grandchildren.
Jim worked as a machinist all his life and he retired from Euclid Machine Company but was forced to give up the career he loved due to his health. He spent his free time watching Indianapolis Colts games on TV. He also enjoyed bowling, playing cards (which he was very good at), working on sudoku and jigsaw puzzles. Jim always tried to do his own repairs to the house. He really enjoyed working with his hands.

Vera and family, sad to hear of Jim’s passing. Having worked with him over a 45 year time period I miss Him also. He always thought of His family and proudly mentioned of them in conversation.
